A quad is used to bring out animals in more rugged areas when ever possible.

Guide Daryl Oest packin' it out the hard way when this bull was taken in a steep canyon.

The vast majority of the trophy moose run mid to upper 40". When field judging moose, there are many factors to consider. It is a combination of outside spread, palm width and length, as well as the number of points on each side.

These photos are a sample of some of the animals harvested over the last couple of years.

Taking time to check out both bulls to see which one is a better trophy.

Moose, deer, and elk can be taken in a variety of habitat, everything from dense maple and quaking aspen groves to open sage hillsides.

I guess it dosen't matter where an animal is taken, as long as the hunter winds up as a "HAPPY CAMPER" with a smile on his face.

Not all of them are taken on, or next to the road. That's when the work begins!
