 Moose Hunts (1 opening) October 27-31, 2012 Most hunters don't realize that we have some of the best trophy class moose hunting right here in Utah. Over the past ten years I have kept track on the number of moose that are seen each day. On an average day 18 to 50 moose are spotted. A large number of them are bulls. Everything from spike (bullwinkles) to great trophy shooters. Most of the bulls taken range in the low to mid 40s in width, with 9 to 13 points on a side. This is a 5 day hunt, however, most of the moose hunts last only 3 days with the hunter taking a quality animal. We schedule the hunt at the end of October. At that time the trees have dropped their leaves and the visibility is much better. With winter starting, there is a good chance of snow.  Rut Elk Hunts (4 openings) September 12 - 16, 2011 (dates approximate) No need to worry about drawing a tag! These hunts are on private property and you are guaranteed a land owner tag. This 2 on 1 hunt is perfect for hunting buddies or father and son. At this time of year the bulls are singing with only one thing on their minds, (-LOVE-). In 2007 Siggma Hunts guided its first elk hunters with great success (see success photos). We have a 100 percent kill on mature bulls!! At times this hunt can be physically demanding. The elevation runs from 6,000 ft, to 8,000 ft. The terrain is steep with dense brush, trees, rocks, cliffs, and possibly snow. You can expect to have a great time, cool weather, super food & cooking, and a quality hunt.  Rut Deer Hunts (2 openings) November 1-5, 2011 These openings are scheduled for the first part of November. This is when the big boys are hot to trott. You can most likely plan on cold weather and snow, which helps in spotting the bucks at a long distance. The snow also pushes the bucks down to lower ground. Each year there are more non-typical bucks moving onto the property for the rut.
