The very last thing done on the 440-C knives is to embellish them with engraving and some gold work. No mistakes now! Only one chance to get it right! The engraving is done with an ultra high speed rotatory handpiece. The only burs hard enough to cut the hardened steel knife blade are either carbide or diamond. Here is a close up of a whitetail deer skull engraved on a mirror finished blade.

Each knife is assigned and engraved with an individual serial number.

Unless your knife has the SIGGMA logo engraved on it; it is not a genuine SIGGMA.

All L-6 knives are shipped with a heavy, single piece, oiled leather sheath. The sheath has been constructed with the tough outdoors environment in mind. Built for the outdoorsman, this sheath is rugged with no fancy stuff.

Each stainless steel knife comes with a high quality leather sheath. This sheath is constructed of heavy cow hide. Its dark, richly tooled, exterior is embelleshed with the Siggma logo and the interior is complimented with a soft suede lining.
